The Creative Industries Skills Council Ltd is a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee that provides workforce skills development advice at both state and national levels.
The Skills Council provides strategic training advice directly to the Queensland Government regarding education and training policies on behalf of industry.


Partner subscription to the Creative Industries Skills Council is free and open to any organisation or individual with a skills development interest in the areas represented by the Skills Council.
Subscription is open to industry workers, unions, employers, employees, volunteers, arts, light manufacturing and printing organisations, industry associations, training providers and government departments in the following creative industry sectors:

Partnerships are open to creative industries organisations, companies, training organisations and individuals with an interest in skills development and improving their workforce capacity.

The Skills Council provides partners with: 

·         Provision of expert advocacy services for your organisation’s skills development plan,

·         Preference given for joint ventures,

·         Active participation on consultative working parties that provide skills development policy advice directly to State Government,

·         Invitation to forums and industry events pertaining to skills development and policy development,

·         Exclusive access to the professional network with like minded people and companies,

·         Free work force skills development advice,

·         Special advertising rates on the Skill Council’s website as a “Featured Business”,

·         Opportunity for partners to give back to the industry,

·        The Skills Council monthly newsletter regarding skills development in the creative industries. 

The Partner gives permission to be contacted by the Skills Council to provide the Skills Council with advice about industry trends, skills development and training supply issues. This allows partners direct input into Government policy.
